What to Do in a Dental Emergency
For a knocked-out tooth, handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and try to place it back in the socket or keep it in milk until you reach us. For a severe toothache, rinse with warm salt water and apply a cold compress. For a broken tooth, save any fragments and apply gauze to control bleeding.
